Paintings on display at the Creamery Arts Center

Visit the Creamery Arts Center at 411 N Sherman Pkwy in Springfield MO to view two of my paintings for the First Friday Artwalk on Friday July 3rd. The Creamery is located near John Hammons Tower, Springfield Cardinals stadium and Jordan Valley park. The paintings that will be displayed are "Sky's the Limit" and "Brandon Flowers of the KIllers" The shows artwork is provided by members of the Springfield Regional Art Council so they'll be lots of great artwork on display.

Grunge music postcard set for sale

This is a postcard set of 6 acrylic paintings that I did featuring Grunge singers. The set is signed and numbered by the artist and are in a protective sleeve. The dimensions of the postcards are 4 x 6 inches and front of the cards are glossy on 14 PT Ultra-thick Cardstock. The backs of the postcard shows the singer, band name, artist, and reference photo if used. The sets are for sale for $5. You can also purchase a a set of 4 postcards of one artist for $4.

This is the finished painting of Jedi my weimeraner. Took longer than I thought it would but very happy with the results. If you know of anyone that want's a pet portrait done let me know.

Here the progress on my weimeraner painting. Layer after layer after layer but it's getting there. Still have some more detail to do in the face and then I'll try to fade it all together so it's concise.

This has been a challenging painting so far and I've still got a lot of work to do. All the blending and different acrylic colors are what is taking so long. The painting is turning out well and am looking forward to hanging it on my wall. I really enjoy painting pet portraits.

william wegman eat your heart out

This is my newest painting that I've just started of my dog Jedi. The breed of the dog is a weimeraner hence the william wegman title. Although that's not what I'll call the painting. These are very passionate and people loving dogs with tons of energy. In fact I think Jedi believes he is a human. You'll always find him lounging in chairs, sofas or beds, hiding under covers, or even under your bed. I've also added the reference pic of Jedi so that you can see what I'm working off of.
