Sky's the Limit painting progress 1

Here's the progress on the painting so far. I've sketched everything out on the canvas and then started on the background. The clouds and sky aren't done it's just the first layer for the background. Next step on the painting is to start on the teddy bear.

Sky's the Limit sketches for painting

My new painting that I'm starting is about Childhood in it's Landscape. The painting will consist of a baby being held up by its diaper by a giant teddy bear meanwhile the baby is trying to catch an airplane that is flying by. The background will consist of sky and clouds to look like the baby and bear are in the sky. The first sketch is for the painting and will be more realistic but based upon the second illustration which was done about 10 years ago. I have to finish this before March 14th so they'll be plenty of updates coming soon.

This is the sketch of the Kurt Cobain painting that I'm working on. The sketch is pretty rough so I'll have to tweak a few things and hope everything works the way I want.
