Chris Cornell painting version 2

The Chris Cornell painting didn't flow with the other grunge paintings that I had done and I also wasn't totally happy with the turnout. Since I finished the series of grunge paintings I'm going to begin work on getting the paintings put on postcards for a set which will be for sale on my website. The changes that I made are the following: changed background color, fixed the hair and the face. I've included the previous photo of the painting so you can see the changes.

Here is what the panting looks like today. I'm about ready to start on the guitar then I have some more detail to do on the body and hair before the background gets started. Altogether pleased with it so far.

Chris Cornell painting

This is the new painting that I'm currently working on for my Grunge music series. The painting is of Chris Cornell who is a singer that is doing solo work but was in the bands Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave.
